We learned how to build servers on AWS. We built eight servers: two for Marathon, three for mesos-master, and three for mesos-masters and slaves in different availability zones. Remember our AWS environment diagram from Chapter 2, Setting up Mesos Single-Cluster Nodes? We built servers and EC2 instances for deploying our Mesos software.
In this section, we will learn how to do a basic Mesos setup containing masters and slaves. We will see which container we are going to use to enable or applications to run. We will also look in to a central mechanism, that stores the configuration files, the zookeeper.
The following are the topics that we will be covering:hostname on centos
- Installing Mesos (mesos-master and Mesos Slave)
- Installing ZooKeeper
- Installing Marathon
- Installing the Docker Container Platform
