Editing in beat to the music
Your client just asked you to make a snazzy promo piece that really grooves with its soundtrack. A common way to make this happen is to edit your video in pace or beat with your music. Creating that link between your sound and image really helps separate a video from the rest of the crop. This method can be used to create some pretty stellar photo slideshows to boot.
Getting ready
Find a piece of music in your iTunes library that really has a great beat to it. We'd love to make our own recommendations, but beauty is in the eye... er, ear of the beholder here, so find one that suits you!
There are a couple of different ways to approach this topic, but we're going to go about it by starting with an empty timeline. It is not required to do so, but it's the simplest way to demo the task.
