Plugging Standard External Modules

We are in the last third of the book, and you should find some changes in the present chapter since this will be the first one when we turn theory and architecture into concrete, ready-to-run code. This action of putting into practice concepts of architecture and information system decoupling is extremely important for many reasons. Firstly, we all know the devil lies in details and great theories are not worth much as long as they have not been battle-tested with some actual working code. Secondly, some of the concepts that have been presented may not be perfectly clear yet, and seeing them from the implementation point of view may help you understand them better. Lastly, the proposed methodology is still – at least in my personal experience – not seen as standard good practice for engineering (otherwise we would not need so much in the way of consulting services for ready-to-collapse information systems).
