Time for action - using BBC formatting


In the Format Options dialog box, the final selection, Format: is a drop-down menu featuring two BBC formats, BBC Cue and BBC Scene, as shown in the following screenshot:

The BBC Cue looks like the following:

The BBC Scene is shown in the following screenshot:

Finally, we have the BBC tab of the Format Options dialog box. Click on it and we get the following screen:

Fill out the preceding fields and that information is included in your audio script.

Have a go hero

The easiest audio production to write and produce is a podcast, as it can be simply anything you want to say. Podcasts are easy to edit (check out the free audio program on Windows and Linux, Audacity—it will do all that you need in editing and preparing podcasts for broadcast on the Internet).

So, hero, spread your wings, and write a podcast. Record the audio by reading your script (you can use Audacity and a USB microphone for that), maybe fancy it up a bit with a snippet of music introduction...
