Suggesters are one of the coolest features of CloudSearch that you can use to build an autocomplete system. We will create a suggester for the username field so that we can use it in a search field for our forum application.
To create a suggester, click on the Suggesters link on the left column and then on the Add Suggester button:
Here, you have to give a name to the suggester (we set username_suggester in our case) and a source field to create the suggester from. You can also select the Fuzzy Matching option that will tolerate typo errors and bring more similar results even though the keyword does not start with the given parameter.
After creating the suggester, CloudSearch should again index the documents, but as we do not have many documents at the moment, it should not take a lot of time.
