Add-ons can greatly extend the power of Blender, often providing new tool suites that become practically separate programs in their complexity. With many of them shipping with the Blender factory settings, it would be crazy to let them gather dust when they could speed up our architecture workflow.
We'll use the Archimesh add-on to generate a variety of cabinets and cupboards quickly. Then, we'll use the Bool Tool add-on to speed up the Boolean modifier workflow that we used earlier. The Archipack add-on provides other architectural creation tools, which we'll use for quick windows and doors. Lastly, the Extra Objects add-on will give us additional mesh primitives.
Before we can use these add-ons, we—of course—have to enable them.
