Hyper-V Manager is an administrative tool that is used to manage VMs. Some of the operations that can be carried out with Hyper-V Manager are as follows:
- Creating, importing, and deleting VMs
- Creating a virtual switch
- Creating the SAN manager
- Inspecting and editing disks
- Stopping services
The Hyper-V Manager user interface consists of a server pane, a VM pane, a checkpoint pane, selected VM details, and an Actions pane (see Figure 8.3):
