Disaster recovery and the business continuity plan
Policies, processes, procedures, and tools that enable the continuity of vital services to business operations are part of a Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Disaster recovery (DR) refers to the technical aspect of bringing back a faulted application or platform to enable business continuity. In mature enterprises, BCP and DR are defined in an enterprise-wide policy.
