Backing up your course

Before we end this chapter and this section, now is a good time to back up the work we have done so far. There is a lot you can do with the backup and restore functionality in Moodle, and I'm going to be returning to it more fully in Chapter 9, Putting it All Together. For now, return to your course front page and look down the options in the course Settings block. Two options listed are Backup and Restore. Choose Backup and let's get all the hard work we've done so far backed up quickly; it's better to be safe than sorry.
