Summary

In this chapter, we covered the different steps that need to be taken to create an application migration roadmap. We also covered the migration guides and tools that Microsoft provides for assessments, the actual migration process, and post-migration steps.  

In the next chapter, we are going to start with refactoring on-premises applications and repackaging them to easily deploy them in Azure. To accomplish this, we are going to look at Docker and Kubernetes to containerize your applications.
