The gallery control

The gallery control is used to display lists of records. When you build an app from data, the first screen is a gallery showing the records for the entity you chose:

In the properties of the gallery, you can select the following:

• Data source.
• Entity.
• Fields.
• For the CDS, you can also reuse a view.

This will display records from the entity. You can use the Items property of the gallery to restrict the records listed using the filter and search functions.
