Summary
In this chapter, we discussed a wide range of topics around securing Windows clients. We started by discussing the guidance in the Microsoft life cycle policy and the importance of staying updated. We covered how to plan for and deploy Windows Updates for Business using MEM and configuring Delivery Optimization for downloading updates.
Next, we reviewed enforcing policies and configurations using Configuration Manager and Intune. We reviewed how to handle conflicts between Group Policy and MDM when shifting policies into Intune cloud management. After that, we covered how to enable encryption on Windows clients using BitLocker and configuring passwordless sign-in with Windows Hello for Business.
