System and User-defined Variables

In Captivate, there are two types of variable:

• System Variables: These Variables are automatically created by Captivate. You can use them in your scripts to retrieve information about the project, about the system, or to control various aspects of the project.
• User Variables: These Variables are your own custom Variables that you create for your own specific use.
