Part 3: Exploring Additional Capabilities
For the final part, we will focus less on motion design and instead explore some advanced concepts and techniques associated with specific target platforms, such as using JavaScript to program a web-based generative art application using nothing but code. We will follow this by taking a hybrid approach to developing web-based games using a mixture of designer and developer tools within the software. We then explore some additional platforms for crafting interactive virtual reality experiences. Following this, we make use of Adobe AIR and ActionScript to write a fully functional application for desktop and mobile devices. We will then wrap up by having a look at how to extend Animate’s capabilities through the creation of custom in-app tutorials, internal scripting, and the use of third-party extensions.
