Chapter 6. Site Settings and Exporting Your Portfolio
You've now learned how to do lots of really useful things as a user in Mahara. In the next few chapters you will be looking at some more advanced features as you learn how to tweak Mahara to make it work better for you. Sensible new Mahara users will ideally sort out their site settings as soon as they join the site, a bit like reading the new TV manual before switching it on, but we thought that the first thing you would want to do is have a play. This chapter covers two major topics—site settings and export. In the former, we will be looking at how you can refine your Mahara portfolio to be more specifically tailored to your own needs, while in the latter, we will show you how you can export your portfolio so that it can be viewed as an HTML website and can be moved between Mahara and other ePortfolio systems.
