Installing the second active web node

After successfully validating the setup, we will continue to install the secondary IaaS nodes.

Prerequisites

Here are the prerequisites for the installation:

  • Update the pools configuration in the NSX load balancer for WEB server
    • Browse the health monitor URL of IaaS WEB server (https://WEB.PKCT.LOCAL/WAPI/api/status) and confirm if you receive REGISTERED response for service iaas-service
  • To prepare the virtual machine for the IaaS node installation, follow the instructions from Chapter 2, Distributed Installation Using Custom Certificates, under the IaaS prerequisites and virtual machine preparation topic
  • From Chapter 2, Distributed Installation Using Custom Certificates, follow the prerequisite instructions under Installing PFX certificate to IIS web server
