How is AI Builder licensed?
The thing to remember about AI Builder is that it is a bolt-on to the standard Power Platform offering i.e. your standard Power Apps or Power Automate licenses, or your Dynamics 365 licensing. AI Builder is licensed through capacity add-ons. What this means is that you purchase credits on a monthly basis, and then assign them to a Power Platform environment. Once the capacity has been assigned, it becomes available for apps and flows where you want to use AI Builder. Some of the premium level licenses also include AI builder credits e.g. Power Apps per user or Power Automate with RPA, so it is always worth checking to see what you already have available to you before you start purchasing.
