Now, we've come to the last letter of the word "IoT," which is the letter "T", referring to Things or IoT devices. This is another interesting topic, so let's deep-dive into it.
In IoT solutions, devices can be anything capable of sensing and/or actuating a physical object, have some processing capacity, and are connected to a local area network or the internet. Your smartphone, for example, can be considered an IoT device. Most smartphones have fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass sensors. They also have operating systems such as Android and iOS and have applications that run on top of such operating systems. They are connected devices and can be connected to the internet or a local area network, such as a Wi-Fi network.
