Looker can connect to a vast array of third-party tools through its Action Hub. Additionally, a growing number of third-party tools are now able to connect to Looker directly from their interface. At the time of writing, Looker announced a new feature: Open SQL Interface. With this new feature, users can now connect to a LookML model as if it were a database. This allows them to take advantage of the work done by data analysts in LookML using the third-party tools they are most comfortable with.
