Now, let’s turn to the essential task of setting priorities, which lies at the heart of the AI PM role. The work of product management always eventually turns to discussions of priority. What do we work on first and why? That prioritization will not only be informed by your product strategy but also by your leadership’s values and the company mission as well. The product function doesn’t live in a silo. It’s an extension of the leadership at the company and the overarching values of the organization itself.
