Editing default brushes with custom Dynamics
The brush dynamics are the make and dimensions of a specific brush, which involve the Brush Angle, Roundness, and Spacing settings (the spacing or gap between a line or pattern of the brush’s stroke).
Let’s take a look at some key terms and settings to further our understanding of brush dynamics:
- Tip Shape: The brush shape is self-explanatory. You can determine the shape of the brush tip, such as round-shaped, oval, square, star, or any custom-shaped brush you create.
- Spacing: Setting the spacing at 25% or less will make a solid line (continuous) while spacing over 25% will have open space or gaps between the strokes.
- Angle: It enables you to change the angle of the brush.
- Tip Dynamics: This enables you to add random variations of the brush size, angle, and roundness with each stroke.
- Select Tip Dynamics in the Brush panel to open the Jitter Controls sub-tab.
