Dressing up our hero
To make our character more interesting, let's add some items to the player. Drag the following sprites from the Project panel onto the Player
object:

, rename it toHair
and set the Order in Layer variable to11
roguelikeChar_transparent3_0
, rename it toTop
and set the Order in Layer variable to12
roguelikeChar_transparent2_0
, rename it toBottoms
and set the Order in Layer variable to11
roguelikeChar_transparent5_0
, rename it toWeapon
and set the Order in Layer variable to13
roguelikeChar_transparent4_0
, rename it toShield
and set the Order in Layer variable to14
roguelikeChar_transparent7_8
, rename it toHelmet
and set the Order in Layer variable to12
Reset the Rect Transform
for all of the preceding objects, and as a result, our hero should be cool, as below:
