A quick tour of Information Designer
Information Designer is accessed from the Tools menu, but it is only available to users who have been granted a TIBCO Spotfire Information Modeler license. It is a tool for setting up data sources and building information links, which are essentially database queries that allow you to import a customized data view into Spotfire as a data table.
When you open Information Designer, you will be immediately struck by its similarity to the library you have just been looking at. That's because it is the library; it's just that Information Designer offers you specialized options to create data sources and information links. All of these objects are nevertheless stored in library folders.
