Throughout this chapter, we explored new tools and strategies to enhance our designs by manipulating multiple shapes with greater efficiency and accuracy. Using these skills, you may not only find that you can create more unique and complex 3D models but also that you create them more quickly as well.
As we learned in the previous chapter, we can create workplanes on surfaces we would like to model. However, by using the Cruise tool, attaching shapes from surface to surface can be done quickly and with only a simple click-and-drag action, as workplanes are created automatically. When you have your shapes in your design and want to position them, you can then use Align to accurately align your shapes across three different positions and three different axes.
