Design Mistakes to Avoid
Over the past few chapters, we have been looking at strategies and techniques for effectively designing models that can be 3D printed using Tinkercad. In this chapter, we will be looking at some of the most common design mistakes that are easy to make as we strive to create our models, and how to avoid making them.
Throughout this chapter, examples and techniques will be broken down into the following topics:
- Watching the workplane
- Identifying thin lines and walls
- Connecting our parts
This chapter will allow us to not only continue to expand our skills and abilities in learning how to use Tinkercad for 3D printing effectively but also gain greater confidence and ability in checking our designs for possible mistakes, as well as striving to avoid making them altogether.
