Building your footer

Why build a footer last? Footers are a special, yet overlooked, portion of your website. I like building a footer as one of the final steps of the design process because they serve as a good way to check off some of the most important tasks before making your site live – confirming navigation links, making sure people can contact you, and more. A good footer will act as a directory, a design element, and a source of contact information. Before we discuss the elements that make a good footer, let’s begin by adding one to your site.
