Editing steps
Editing your steps mainly means one of these three actions:
- Adding additional steps to your path
- Rearranging the order of steps
- Deleting steps
There are two places you can go to edit your steps: the canvas (the main working area in the center with all the elements) and the path lane (the thumbnails in the left grey column).
Because you have the most editing options on the canvas, this is where you will be doing the major part of the editing of steps. On the canvas, it is easy to add new steps and make the bigger adjustments to your path order.
The path lane does not offer as many options. However, it does provide quick and easy access to a few main features that you will likely use a lot. In the path lane, it is easy to move one or two steps to new positions in the order. Deleting steps is a breeze here too.
Tip
Adding an element to the path lane means the exact same thing as creating a step. It is easy when you think about it. Steps are the only thing you will ever find in the path...
