Getting started with QlikSense Desktop

One of the main advantages with data discovery and visualization tools such as QlikSense is that there is minimal overhead when it comes to getting started with the application whether it be downloading, installing, or configuring components. So let's begin.

Downloading QlikSense

We can download the latest version of QlikSense by visiting the following website:  http://www.qlik.com/us/products/qlik-sense/desktop and clicking on the TRY OR BUY button on the upper right-hand side as seen in the following screenshot:

That will then lead us to a page where we have the option to either download QlikSense Desktop or QlikSense Cloud. We can then go ahead and click on the FREE DOWNLOAD button underneath QlikSense Desktop as seen in the following screenshot:

Once selected, the next page will be a registration form to enter contact information, for Qlik to find out something about you before you download QlikSense. Once you submit the form the download process...
