Reports
There are many similarities between searches and reports, as we discussed earlier. Many of the functions and searches are available in reports. You can add filters and choose the colors that you want to appear in the results. NetSuite has many built-in reports available to you, covering most records in the system.
One of the key advantages of using reports is that you start customizing a report from a template. If you go to any report, you'll see a Customize option in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen which allows you to take the existing template and edit it to show just the information you need to see:

But before we start customizing, let's review the options available out of the box. We'll illustrate this using a sales order report, however, most of the options we will be discussing apply to most of the other reports in NetSuite.
