Hardware is one of the most important factors we need to take into account when testing games. The platform itself is in many ways defined by the hardware used. For some platforms, such as consoles, hardware testing is not particularly demanding. On the other hand, hardware testing for mobile is complex and requires good planning. In this chapter, we will focus mostly on mobile hardware testing and go into depth on how it affects game QA.
