There are other properties for the entity that you can configure. These properties can affect the user interface in model-driven apps, such as controlling a button on the action bar or adding functionality. Throughout the rest of this book, we will enable some of these properties when investigating the functionality of the Power Platform. For example, in the next chapter, the Duplicate detection property will be enabled.
In the Maker portal, the entity properties are grouped into four sections:
- Entity type and ownership: These two properties were discussed previously in this chapter.
- Collaboration: This section includes many options, including connections and queues.
- Create and update settings: This section includes duplicate detection, quick create forms, and change tracking.
- Offline: This section is for offline access with mobile devices and the Outlook client.
