Interview on 5G with Aayush Bhatnagar, senior vice president of Reliance Jio

Aayush Bhatnagar leads the 5G and 6G technology organization at Jio. As part of this role, he leads the product initiatives for Jio 5G radios, 5G core, 4G core, automation platforms, as well as early 6G designs. He is a technology enthusiast and likes designing and developing software hands-on.

Please share one aspect of you that your biography does not cover.

There is one fun fact that I would like to share. The idea of building Jio Platforms’ 5G stack was decided in a car, during a traffic jam.

It’s amazing how decisions taken from the heart can be so intuitively right, as now we are using this technology in India to power one of the largest 5G SA networks globally.
