Configuring network ports and protocols to be used by the Teams client application

We've understood the bandwidth requirements and how to use planning tools for our Microsoft Teams deployment. Next, we need to familiarize ourselves with a number of network ports and protocols that will need to be opened up on your organization's firewalls in order to ensure that Teams works correctly.

The following ports must be opened at all your business locations for Teams media requirements:

  • UDP ports 3478 through 3481 for IP addresses 13.107.64.0/18, 52.112.0.0/14, and 52.120.0.0/14
