Time for action – configuring document library file settings


Let's learn this feature by actually using it:

  1. Sign in to the Neighborhood portal using the admin credentials.

  2. Now open the Control Panel.

  3. Now from the Content section, click on the Document Library link. The system will display the Document Library portlet.

  4. Now from the right-hand panel of the Document Library portlet, click on the Add Document link. The system will display the document upload page.

  5. Now, click on the Browse (You can select multiple files.) link. The system will open the file selection dialog. Select any file which is around 4 MB or more in size.

  6. The system will display the document upload page as shown in following screenshot:

  7. The system doesn't allow adding the file because the default maximum size of the file for Document Library is set to 3 MB.

  8. Now from the Server section, click on the Server Administration link. The system will, by default, select the Resources tab. Click on the File Uploads tab.
