Time for action – creating a structure
We will create a structure first:
Go to Control Panel | Web Content.
Click on Structures | Add Structure.
In the ID field enter HOSALE-STRUCTURE.
In Name field, enter HO Sale Structure.
Click on the Add Row button and add the following rows:
Leave the default permissions as they are.
Click on Save.
You will return to a page where the HOSALE-STRUCTURE structure is displayed in a list.
What just happened?
You have successfully created the HOSALE-STRUCTURE structure. This structure has seven variables. For the Text type variables, you will enter text as their values; for the Image Gallery type variables, you will enter Uniform Resource Locators (URL) to image files as their values. Those image files have been uploaded through the image gallery portlet or are uploaded through the WYSIWYG editor on the run.
A structure will be used by one or more templates.
