Recognizing the push for standards
These days, the advances in all types of technology help individuals simplify and secure their lives. Along with this expansion, we see the associated tasks of ensuring privacy and security. Biometric technology is no exception, as we are seeing more and more uses for it. Some of the main uses of biometric applications include the following:
- Law enforcement
- Forensics
- Commercial systems
- Personal devices
It's an exciting time as nowadays, biometric technology can allow us to gain access to different types of electronic devices, applications, and systems, as shown in the following diagram:
