Technical requirements

In this chapter, basic knowledge of the AWS console is assumed. This was covered in the previous chapters as well as in the Terraform configuration already completed in Chapter 4, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. 

A public domain is available in the AWS account. This can be useful for testing all aspects of a web application, but this is only an optional step. 

Basic knowledge of Linux command-line tool is also required because the example is built with an Amazon Linux 2 operating system. The code files included within the chapter can be found on GitHub at link: https://github.com/giuseppeborgese/effective_devops_with_aws__second_edition.
