The scope of this book was to cover those Tanzu products that play key roles in building, running, and managing modern containerized applications on top of Kubernetes platforms. However, the Tanzu ecosystem has a few more offerings that we have not covered so far, as listed in the following sub-sections.
Tanzu Labs
Tanzu Labs is a professional services wing under the Tanzu umbrella. It covers services that are outcome focused and consist of short-term engagements of typically 6 to 12 weeks based on the scope of work. These services include consultation from highly trained architects and engineers in the respective area of work. Each engagement typically involves a combination of two full-time engineers or architects and one product manager.
