For any enterprise context, API platforms are built using microservices. Hence, these services can be implemented using one or more API styles that may be relevant depending on the nature of the business and technical requirements.
In the following sections, we will expand on the case study scenario by applying the concepts presented in this chapter. We will investigate the various API styles that will be useful for implementing the different microservices. We will also attempt to map some of the Azure services to create a very basic and high-level architectural blueprint.
