When defining your unique data IP, use the pivots of People, Process, and Technology across the three main areas of investment – Documentation, Outsourcing, and Community. Each of these areas represents the massive source of your unique IP, along with an even more accelerated momentum for the overall mesh and for the intersection between them.

The purpose is to define what your IP is – not for some abstract safeguarding, but to foster the continuous ability to grow it, enrich it, and innovate the business delivery.
