Setting up the workspace

Now, the most important windows, for concept art, are these ones:

  • Material
  • Layer
  • Layer Property
  • Sub Tool
  • Tool

The color wheel is something you can use with shortcuts because you will not change colors very much.

In the Quick Access window, I recommend adding the following:

  • HSL correction layer, which you can find under Layer | New Correction Layer | Hue/Saturation/Luminosity
  • HSL tonal correction, which you can find under Edit | Tonal Correction | Hue/Saturation/Luminosity
  • Tool property
  • Gradient map
  • Gradient tool

This will give you all the tools you need to work with.
