The gadgets packaged with the phones and tablets allow for some really creative uses of the technology. But be warned; if you don't make good use of them by releasing them when you have finished, your app will drain the battery life almost as fast as the users will drain away from your app. Remember, "Power is nothing without control".

All the examples so far have concentrated on the functionality. It's now time to turn our attention to how the app looks. You can have great functionality, but if the app doesn't look good, it isn't going to get very far. The next chapter will concentrate on the methods you need to make your app look great across all platforms.
