In the course of the book, we went in depth into different sections from simple and generic to more complex and powerful WSO2 capabilities. At first, we made an introduction to the service-oriented architecture in general and focused on the WSO2 world in order to put in context the principles and the target area where we can apply the knowledge and the techniques of the book. This was a very important chapter, because it contained the core basics for all the other chapters, and let the reader understand the SOA architecture even without any previous knowledge about it, making the book readable for all the people interested in learning to develop with WSO2 servers, with or without prior experience.
