Delivering effective and efficient presentations


Before we end this chapter, I want to provide you a set of pointers for delivering presentations successfully. Delivery of presentations is a huge topic by itself. So, the list I am about to provide may not be comprehensive, but it is sufficient for you to get started on the road to becoming a great presenter. Some of them may be repeats from earlier in the book and the chapter:

  1. Practice delivering in front of a mirror if you can. Do a full rehearsal at least once and multiple rehearsals of parts that are difficult.

  2. If you are able to get access to the room where you would be rehearsing beforehand, get to it and imagine an audience while you rehearse.

  3. It is important that you look into finer aspects such as how you face the screen and at what angle you would face the audience.
