Technical requirements

We will be again returning to Tinkercad in this chapter as we learn to design with some of the newly introduced concepts for 3D printing production introduced in the last chapter. As a reminder, we can access Tinkercad through a web-based design application at www.tinkercad.com.

You can also access Tinkercad via an app depending on the device you are using, such as an iPad or other tablet device. As discussed in Chapter 2, I recommend you utilize a mouse to aid in your design work in Tinkercad’s 3D editor as it may offer an additional level of control and ease of use.

An editable model of the examples shown throughout this chapter can be accessed on Tinkercad at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3nyCa72nWhX-overhang-examples-from-chapter-11.
