The project assessment and control process
The main aim of the project assessment and control process is to assess the management plans that have been put in place and to monitor the progress of the project against these plans. This process is very closely related to the project planning process as it is concerned with ensuring that all the outcomes of that process are fit for purpose and are executed appropriately. The project assessment and control process is shown in the following diagram:
