Introduction
Creating your own projects is a lot of fun in Scratch. However, a lot of other people have had some great ideas for projects too! This chapter is all about taking something someone else has created and customizing it—we'll call that remixing. One important advantage of remixing projects made by others is to be able to also share what we do with others—that is the entire point of remixing!
We're going to go through a few recipes in this chapter that will remix work we've seen before. We'll begin with a simple recipe about learning how to import code from one project to another. Then, we'll create something new using some blocks we haven't come across yet. Next, we'll remix that project to do something else.
After this chapter, you'll be remixing projects (that you download) in no time! If you want to find out more about downloading projects, check out Appendix, Collaboration.
