APEX application conversion

Before we begin to use the APEX conversion tools it's important to note that the tools will not always convert our application perfectly, nor will they emulate the exact functionality of Oracle Forms and Microsoft Access. There are many differences between how a Web application like APEX behaves as compared to Microsoft Access and Oracle Forms applications. Some functionality in these applications may not easily translate, or even be applicable, in a Web browser environment. But the APEX conversion tools can generate the core functions of our applications such as forms, reports, master-detail forms, and tabular forms. This provides a significant jumpstart to the conversion of our applications. Even though the APEX conversion tools may not automatically convert all the functionality of our application, it still provides features to help track and manage the manual conversion of these tasks.
