Content-Aware Move tool
A tool that might help fine-tune your composition is the Content-Aware Move tool. Essentially, this is a big Healing Brush, but instead of clicking repeatedly over an image hoping that it can copy, paste, and blend pixels over a problem area, this tool works on a much larger scale. With this tool, draw around the object you want to move, drag the entire object to a new position, and release it – Elements will do the rest.
Here, the rest means assessing the pixels around the target site and then blending them into the canvas. However, like many of the magic auto-fix tools in this application, some examples work much better than others.
The Cloning process, can at times be a little too aggressive, copying objects into the area to be covered that are inappropriate. That's the nature of the beast. Elements provides some control over the power of the Healing action (via a slider), plus Add or Subtract modes for the initial selection process.
