At this point, we are quite comfortable with implementing the basic functionalities of a mobile-based ML application that involves in-text detection, face detection, and barcode scanning. Similarly, we can implement image labeling and landmark detection through the cloud API. We should now be able to see that ML Kit covers the basic needs of a mobile-based ML application.
In the next chapter, we shall move on to building the Augmented Reality (AR) filter similar to the ones available on Snapchat.Â
